Installation Notes

Well friends, the holidays are over and so is The Art of the Quilt. Tina Sell, Piedmont Arts' Director of Exhibitions and Bernadette Moore, Piedmont Arts' Director of Marketing spent the day packing up the beautiful textiles that have graced our galleries since November. Soon, these delicate gems will be shipped home to the artists who graciously loaned them to Piedmont Arts. For now though, masses of brown shipping boxes inhabit the gallery floor!















Many thanks go to Linda Feidler, famed quilt artist and curator of The Art of the Quilt. Her assisatance organizing this biennial exhibit is always greatly appreciated!



Ed Dolinger, president of the Lynwood Artists and artist Brian Counihan made short work of hanging the new Lynwood Artists Gallery exhibit, Veiled Series. In just a few hours, the two had installed over 20 of Counihan's works! Make sure to check out Veiled Series when it opens on January 9.
