Art, Art Everywhere

The galleries have been closed since the end of April, but they haven't been empty! Local, regional and national artists flooded the galleries with their artwork at Expressions 2009 receiving. Paintings, sculptures, drawings, photographs and more now hang salon-style on the gallery walls, just waiting for their public debut on May 8. Piedmont Arts' Director of Exhibitions Tina Sell and members of the Lynwood Artists worked tirelessly for two weeks installing works by over 130 artists.

Offering an eclectic mix of styles and media, Expressions is one of the most popular events in Piedmont Arts’ exhibition schedule. Jointly hosted by the Lynwood Artists and Piedmont Arts, Expressions offers artists the chance to display their work in a local setting, alongside works by their friends and neighbors.
