My, What Fine Crafts You Have

Classic Crafts is finally here (after three weeks of installation!) and the galleries are stuffed with the finest contemporary crafts in the country. There's jewelry, pottery, glass, metal, baskets, textiles and gourds! Make sure to check out some of the wonderful works on our exhibit slideshow. And, don't forget to come by the galleries and pick out gifts for the holiday season. Fine crafts make unique and wonderful presents for family and friends. All works in Classic Crafts are for sale and will be available for pick up on the evening of December 22, 2009.

Not to be outdone by our national artists, Works by Studio 107 Artists, in the Lynwood Artists Gallery, showcases crafts by local artists who share space at Studio 107 in Uptown Martinsville. Featuring various media, this exhibit highlights some of the areas most–loved art forms, including woodturning, art glass, painting and pottery. These beautiful, handcrafted works by local talent stand their ground beside the works of the national artists in Classic Crafts and we are so very proud!

Make sure to visit the galleries before the holidays to see these wonderful exhibits. Classic Crafts and Works by Studio 107 Artists will be on display through December 22, 2009.
