Art Walk Events Slated for Friday

• Studio 107 will host a holiday preview sale from 5 - 7 pm. Handmade items, like wooden ornaments and key chains, stained and fused glass and jewelry will be on clearance. Studio 107 artists will also have holiday ornaments, decorations and accessories available for purchase or commission. Studio 107 is open for free tours during First Friday Art Walk and artists are available to discuss their work.
• The Cake and Dessert Pantry, located inside The CafĂ© at Arts and Deli, will be open from 5 - 7 pm and will provide visitors with samples of holiday cakes and cookies. The shop will also take special orders for the upcoming holidays.
• The Artisan Center will host an opening for an exhibit by local artisan, Chris Frazier. Frazier will display glass and turned-wood pieces featuring his unique mosaic designs. Visit the Artisan Center from 5 - 7 pm for shopping and an artist meet-and-greet.
• First Friday at the Rives will present alt-country musician Jason Ringenberg in concert at the historic Rive Theatre. Ringenberg is the lead singer for punk-country pioneers, Jason and the Scorchers, and also moonlights as children's performer, Farmer Jason, who will make an appearance at the Rives on Saturday morning. Ringenberg's First Fridays at the Rives performance begins at 8 pm and tickets are $15 each. Tickets will be available at the door beginning at 7 pm. Farmer Jason will delight kids young and old on Saturday, Nov. 5 at 11 am at the Rives. Farmer Jason's performance is free and open to the public.
