Studio 107 Artists Juried into Jax Exhibition

Three area artists working out of Studio 107 Artist Studios for Piedmont Arts in Uptown Martinsville have work on display in the Jacksonville Center's prestigious Jax Juried Exhibition in Floyd, Virginia.

Glass artists Nancy Clark and Aleen Wilson and painter Roland Guidry each had pieces juried into the show, which is now in its third year in the center's Hayloft Gallery. Guidry's painting, Autumn Trail, received an honorable mention in the exhibit and he was extended an invitation to attend an artist retreat at Asolare Fine Arts Foundation in Lexington, North Carolina, hosted by exhibit juror Jim Moon.

Local artist and Lynwood Artists member Charlie Knighton also had work juried into the exhibit.

The Jax Juried Exhibition will be on display at the Jacksonville Center, located at 220 Parkway Lane South in Floyd, through Sept. 15, 2012.
