Piedmont Arts is seeking nominations for the 2013 Clyde Hooker Awards, which recognize support of the arts by individuals and businesses in Martinsville and Henry County.

Any individual or business that has made significant donations of their talents, time and/or resources in support of the arts in Martinsville and Henry County is eligible for nomination. One award recipient will be chosen in each category.

To nominate an individual or business for a Clyde Hooker Award, complete a nomination form and return it to the museum no later than Friday, April 12, 2013.

The Clyde Hooker Awards were created by Piedmont Arts’ board of directors in 2003 and are named for J. Clyde Hooker, Jr., in grateful appreciation of his generous support of the arts and culture in Martinsville and Henry County.
