Students from Carlisle School's ZipZapZop Theatre Co. performed at Piedmont Arts on Wednesday as part of the museum’s Preschool in the Galleries

The group presented a fall-themed program with songs and stories designed to teach preschoolers about the newly arrived season. Using props, like a tree costume, leaf and pumpkin cut-outs, colorful foliage and more, ZipZapZop members set the mood for a happy and festive fall. Some members of the group also dressed as famous artists, including Georgia O'Keefe and Joni Pienkowski, whose work is on display at the museum through October 29.

Piedmont Arts’ Preschool in the Galleries is a series of programs for pre-K students designed to foster a love of the performing and visual arts at a young age. Performances are free of charge to students and schools. Local preschools interested in attending a performance, should RSVP attendance to 276.632.3221.
