It’s the last week to view Prillaman Watercolor Invitational and Adjunct | Ben Winslow at Piedmont Arts. The exhibits will close Saturday, April 29 at 3 pm.

“We’ve had a wonderful reception to these exhibits,” said Director of Exhibitions Heidi Pinkston. “Wanda and Ben are very talented artists and their work is a must-see. If you haven’t had a chance to visit the museum, please make a date to view these exhibits before they're gone.”

Prillaman Watercolor Invitational features 29 works by Wanda Prillaman and works by 21 regional watercolor artists who experienced Wanda’s influence in their lives.

“Wanda will always be remembered as one of Martinsville-Henry County’s most celebrated artists,” said Pinkston. “She enriched the community through her love of art and by sharing her knowledge as an art teacher in area schools.”

Adjunct | Ben Winslow features pottery by the regional artist. Ben is a pottery instructor and studio tech at Rockingham Community College in Wenworth, N.C. He has been working in ceramics for 10 years. His work has been exhibited at Piedmont Arts as part of Expressions, where he has won several awards.

Piedmont Arts hours are Tuesday – Friday from 10 am – 5 pm and Saturday from 10 am – 3 pm. Admission is free.
