Piedmont Arts Appoints Heidi Pinkston Interim Executive Director 

The Piedmont Arts Board of Directors announced that it has appointed Heidi Pinkston, Director of Exhibitions, interim Executive Director. Kathy Rogers, who has served as executive director since 2010, announced recently that she will be accepting a position in Charlotte on October 30.

Pinkston, who has been with Piedmont Arts for more than a decade, has worked in all areas of the museum, including education, programming and exhibitions. “We are excited to have Heidi take on the interim executive director’s position as the Board conducts a search,” said Board President Joyce Staples. “She is well-poised to step into the role during this important time of transition.”
