Richmond Ballet’s RBII will bring energy and flair to an exciting repertory of classical and contemporary ballets when they perform as part of Piedmont Arts’ performing arts series on Friday, April 13, 2018 at 7 pm at Martinsville High School Auditorium.

“Piedmont Arts is excited to bring Richmond Ballet’s RBII back to the community,” said Executive Director Heidi Pinkston. “As the State Ballet of Virginia, Richmond Ballet brings performances of the highest quality to communities throughout the commonwealth and the country."

Richmond Ballet’s dancers come from around the world and have helped earn the company critical acclaim. The executive director of Dance/USA says Richmond Ballet is “a jewel among U.S. dance companies,” and The Washington Post calls it “a company to which dance fans everywhere ought to pay attention.” During Richmond Ballet’s second engagement in three years at The Joyce Theater in New York City, The New York Times rated the company as “highly recommended.”
