Art @ Happy Hour Last Chance to View “Expressions 2018,” July 19

Art @ Happy Hour offers Piedmont Arts guests a final chance to view Expressions 2018 before the exhibit closes.

Enjoy a free guided tour of the exhibition Thursday, July 19 from 5 – 7 pm at Piedmont Arts.

Lynwood Artists President Jessie Ward will lead a gallery talk from 5:30 – 6:30 pm. Complimentary refreshments and an open bar will be available during the event. 

Offering an eclectic mix of styles and media, Expressions is an open-entry judged art exhibit featuring 259 works by more than 140 regional artists. 

This year’s exhibition was judged by Kimberly C. Piland, exhibition coordinator at Taubman Museum of Art in Roanoke, Virginia.

Now through July 19, visitors to the museum can vote for their favorite piece on display in Expressions. The winning work will receive the 2018 People’s Choice Award, which will be announced during Art @ Happy Hour.

Expressions 2018 will be on display at Piedmont Arts through July 20. Admission is free.
