Christmas Tree Brings Sparkle to Art Garden
Just like the sculptures in its Art Garden, the museum’s Christmas tree will be a work of art. Created using 3,000 lights, the tree will be lit at sunset on November 30 and brighten the Art Garden through New Year’s Day.
“The Christmas tree will be a real show-stopper,” said Marketing and Programs Coordinator Holly Burton. “Ian Hogg has generously donated his time and prowess to create a real work of art. We hope the tree brings joy to the community throughout the holiday season.”
Smith River Singers will lead caroling during the event, kids can create Christmas ornaments to take home and Santa Claus, the jolly old elf himself, will make an appearance. Complimentary snacks and hot chocolate will be available. All are welcome.
This event is sponsored by Martinizing Dry Cleaning and Martinsville Henry County Chamber of Commerce.
