Piedmont Arts Seeks Nominations for Clyde Hooker Award

Piedmont Arts is seeking nominations from the public for the 2014 Clyde Hooker Awards. Nominees should be individuals or businesses that are involved in and support the arts in Martinsville and Henry County. Award recipients, chosen by committee, will be honored at a special reception at the museum. Donations accepted at this event will directly benefit the Hufford Memorial Arts Scholarship Fund, whose 2014 beneficiaries will also be announced at the reception.

About The Clyde Hooker Award
Piedmont Arts' Clyde Hooker Award was established in 2003 to recognize individuals and businesses in Martinsville and Henry County who have made significant contributions to the arts and culture in our area. The award is named in honor of J. Clyde Hooker, Jr., for his generous support of the arts.

To nominate a business or individual, complete a nomination form and return it to Piedmont Arts, 215 Starling Ave, Martinsville, by March 31, 2014. Forms are available at Piedmont Arts and online.
